Kaup: Bus crashes into tree after driver loses control

Kaup: A private service bus traveling from Udupi to Kaup crashed into a tree after the driver lost control near Dandateertha on National Highway 66, Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred at Uliyaragoli Dandateertha, and one woman passenger sustained injuries. Fortunately, there were only 6-7 passengers on the bus, and it was moving slowly, preventing a major mishap.

Local residents assisted the passengers in safely exiting the bus. Kaup police visited the site and inspected the incident.
