Kaup: Driver escapes unhurt after lorry catches fire near Hejamady toll gate

Kaup: The driver of an Eicher lorry escaped unhurt after the vehicle caught fire near Hejamady toll gate here on Wednesday night.
As per reports, the truck, headed towards Bhadravathi from MCF, was parked near the toll gate and its crew was cooking dinner near the vehicle when it accidentally caught fire.
The driver Navid Pasha was inside the lorry at the time but he managed to escape unhurt.
The toll gate staff and others tried to douse the flame but the lorry was completely gutted in the mishap.
