Kaup: ‘Kalavadhi Suggi Maripuje’ at all 3 Marigudi temples on March 23-24

Kaup: The ‘Kalavadhi Suggi Maripuje’ will be held at the old Sri Marigudi temple, new Sri Marigudi temple and the third Sri Marigudi temple here on March 23 and 24.
As precautionary measures against COVID-19 the surroundings of the three temples have been sanitized and boards have been placed at many places stating that devotees must wear masks and maintain distancing.
A police briefing was held on Monday at the old Marigudi temple’s hall. 1 Deputy Superintendent of Police, 2 Circle Inspectors, 8 Sub Inspectors, 22 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 210 police personnel of other ranks have been deployed to control the vehicular and devotees traffic during the event.
Parking arrangements have been made at four places: Kaup Degree College ground, Vidyaniketan School ground, Bangle ground, Bunts Sangha ground and Town Council premises.
