Kaup: Liquid leaking from tanker on NH66; Traffic diverted

Kaup: A volatile liquid is leaking from a tanker on the National Highway 66 at Uliyaragoli on July 8.
The tanker was on its way to Mangaluru when the leak was detected. The gaseous vapours were seen spreading in the vicinity of the truck covering all lanes of the highway.
As a precautionary measure, the traffic on the highway has been diverted.
The type of liquid was not immediately known. Kaup police visited the spot and the fire brigade has been alerted.
