Kaup Sri Hosa Marigudi Temple Brahmakalashotsava: Preparatory meeting held

Kaup: In preparation for the upcoming Brahmakalashotsava of Kaup Sri Hosamarigudi Temple, a joint meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vidyakumari. The event, slated to take place from February 25 to March 5, involves comprehensive renovations and large-scale arrangements.
During the meeting, members of the temple’s development and management committees, along with departmental officials, discussed key infrastructural upgrades required for the event. Development Committee President K. Vasudeva Shetty detailed the progress made in the renovation work and sought cooperation from district administration, police, and municipal bodies.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vidyakumari highlighted the anticipated participation of lakhs of devotees, including dignitaries such as the Chief Minister, state and central ministers, and renowned artists from national and international platforms. She stressed the importance of efficient planning and resource allocation to accommodate the large crowd during the nine-day festivities.
Key officials present included Additional SP Parameshwar A. Hegde, Karkala DSP Aravind Kalagujji, and officials from the National Highways Authority, local police, and municipal departments. Religious leaders and community representatives also participated actively in the discussions.
Kapil Divakar Shetty, Vice President of the Development Committee, presented the proposals, while Brahmakalashotsava Committee President Yogesh Shetty Balaji delivered the vote of thanks.
