Kaup: Tree falls on house causing significant damage

Kaup: Amid incessant rains, a tree fell on a house located in front of the Muloor Billava Sangha on the morning of June 26, causing extensive damage.

The tree fell due to strong winds on Wednesday morning, damaging the house’s roof, walls, and adjacent rooms, of the residence of Uday Poojari.

The family escaped unhurt as they were as they were sitting in the hall, which was unaffected.

The taluk administration, revenue department, and municipal council have been informed of the incident.
