Kaup: Woman goes missing with her 2-year-old son

Kaup: A woman and her young son, residents of Pakeeranakatte in Mallaru village, have been missing since June 1.
Raeesa Tabassum (26), wife of Rizwan Ahmed and resident of Pakeeranakatte here, has been missing along with her 2-year-old son Izaan Ahmed, police said.
A complaint in this regard by Raeesa’s mother-in-law Mumtaz at the Kaup police station. As per the complaint, Raeesa had informed her mother-in-law that she would be visiting her maternal home in Mallar. She had left with her son on June 1, but did not turn up at her mother’s place.
The incident came to light on June 2 when Raeesa’s mother called up Mumtaz to inquire about her daughter’s welfare as her phone was switched off.
Meanwhile, Kaup police have registered a missing case and are working to trace their whereabouts.
A case has been registered at Kaup police station and the police are investigating.
