Kaup: Young cricketer dies by suicide

Kaup: A young cricketer and, was found dead in an apparent case of suicide on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Aditya (24), a resident of Kedar Bolje in Udyavara.
It is gathered that Aditya, who had formed a cricket team in memory of his late friend Sukshit, who passed away in an accident last year, participated in a cricket match at Perampalli with his team on Saturday night. He returned home at around 3 AM on Sunday and was later found hanging inside the house.
The incident came to light around 7:30 AM when his grandmother knocked on his door and received no response. Upon peeking through the window, she discovered that he had died by hanging.
Aditya, who lost his parents earlier, was living with his grandmother and younger brother.
The exact reason for the suicide remains unknown. A case has been registered at Kaup Police Station based on a complaint filed by Aditya’s brother, Sachin. The police are conducting further investigations.
