Kaup: A young bike rider was seriously injured in a bike-lorry collision at Muloor near here on Sunday evening.
The accident took place on the National Highway 66 in front of the CSI School in Muloor. The lorry moving towards Udupi from Mangaluru hit the Pulsar bike and the rider was thrown onto the road.
He was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, sources said. However, the identity of the youth is yet to be ascertained.
Kapu police rushed to the accident spot and are investigating the matter.
