A Kerala businessman gave one of his employees, who has been with him for 22 years, a brand new Mercedes Benz automobile valued over Rs 45 lakh.
The SUV was given to CR Anish by AK Shaji, the owner of myG, a Kerala-based retailer of consumer goods and home appliances.
Anish has known Shaji since before myG was created, and has worked in a variety of capacities within the company, including marketing, maintenance, and business development.
Anish is now the Chief Business Development Officer of myG.

“Ani has been with me for the last 22 years even before I started myG. He is a strong pillar and a mainstay for me. He has never disappointed me. His brotherly affection and immense focus and dedication towards work supported me a lot. I consider Anish as a partner and not an employee,” Shaji wrote on Instagram.
Shaji also recorded himself giving the black SUV to Anish and his family on social media. He thanked Anish for his services before handing him the automobile. They then cut a cake to commemorate the event.
Shaji was lauded by netizens for recognising his employee’s hard work.
This isn’t the first time Shaji has given his employees a car. He gave six staff automobiles two years ago. He’s also given some of his employees overseas trips.
