Punnayurkulam in Kerala witnessed a rather unique wedding of two beagles, Acid and Jaanvi.
The wedding was held in a decorated hall and it had all the associated festivities like the accompaniment of nadaswaram and kuavayidal.
The bride Jaanvi and groom Acid’s marriage was solemnized at a heritage resort at Punnayurkulam on the outskirts of the district.
The wedding was attended by various other dogs.
Acid aka Kuttupu is like a son to the dog owners, Shelly and his wife, a native of Vadanappally.
Jaanvi, the bride belongs to their dog trainer, Kanakanchery Subeesh Bhaskar at Punnayurkkulam.
Event management services were availed along with the studio unit for photoshoot.
The pet owners had also arranged a nice ‘bedroom’ for the newlywed couple. The bridegroom was wearing a silk shirt while the bride’s attire was a silk frock. They were made to offer wedding garland to each other in presence of several other breed dogs.
The canine-couple’s favourite food Chicken biryani was served at the wedding.
