KGF: Chapter 2 all set to become second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time!

Rocky Bhai’s action continues to reverberate in the Hindi belt! KGF: Chapter 2 might soon surpass the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan’s Dangal which earned Rs 387.38 crore to become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Twitter, “#KGF2 is all set to emerge 2ND HIGHEST GROSSING *HINDI* FILM… Also, #Eid holidays will expedite its journey towards ₹ 400 cr… ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER… [Week 3] Fri 4.25 cr, Sat 7.25 cr, Sun 9.27 cr, Mon 3.75 cr. Total: ₹ 373.33 cr. #India biz. #Hindi.”

Yash-led action film is doing exceptionally well at the box office in the Hindi belt. It has already broken several records, in the three weeks of its release and set new benchmarks.

However, it remains to be seen if the Yash-starrer Kannada movie will cross the Rs 510.99 crore mark set by the Hindi version of another South Indian hit, Baahubali: The Conclusion. With collections slowing down on the third weekend after release, surpassing this goal seems challenging.

Other Hindi releases, Ajay Devgn-led Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff-starrer Heropanti 2, were caught in the mayhem caused by KGF 2. There was much footfall during the weekend, reflected in their lower-than-expected earnings.
