Mangaluru: Minister for food and civil supplies UT Khader responding to slain Ilyas wife allegations against him said that he will not react to her comments but ruled out his links with Ilyas.

Speaking to a media channel here on Friday, Ilyas’s wife Farzana accused Police and the politicians for ignoring the death of her husband and asked why has there been no compensation for her family. Farzana alleged that U T Khader used to visit their residence at the time of elections and hit out at him for maintaining silence after Ilyas was murdered.

UT Khader, addressing a press meet said, “Ilyas’ wife Farzana is grieving the death of her husband, so I do not want to counter-attack her for all the statements she has made against me,”

Ilyas from ‘Target group’ was brutally murdered at his residence on 13 January.
