Mangaluru: As the rain intensity has increased along the coast since the last two days, the accompanying winds have made the seas rough and treacherous leading to increase in danger through sea erosion at Ullal and Someshwara. Meanwhile, the dumping of boulders at Kaiko and Kotepura areas is ongoing.

State Minister for Urban Development and Housing U T Khader visited several locations in Ullal facing the danger of  sea erosion on Saturday June 9th.

The locals appealed to the minister to find a permanent solution to their problem as he dumping of boulders is a temporary solution as at some places the waves continue to lash at houses.
