Kinnigoli: One dead, another injured in two-wheeler collision

Kinnigoli: A head-on collision between two scooters near the Rama Mandir on Kinnigoli-Ullanje Road resulted in the death of one rider and serious injuries to another on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ravindra, a resident of Palimar, who was riding one of the scooters involved in the accident.

The other injured rider, Kumar from Kinnigoli, has been admitted to a private hospital in Mukka.

The accident occurred when Ravindra’s scooter, travelling from Palimar towards Ekkaru on the Kinnigoli-Kateel Ullanje Road, collided head-on with Kumar’s scooter, which was heading from Kateel towards Kinnigoli. Both riders suffered critical injuries, and Ravindra succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital.

Both vehicles sustained severe damage in the incident.

A case has been registered at the Mangaluru North Traffic Police Station.
