KMF resolves change-related concerns; Adds 10ml to half-liter milk packs

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has clarified recent allegations of milk price hikes and ensured transparency for consumers. The proposed increase of Rs.3 per litre and Rs. 1.50 for half a liter of milk has been implemented. However, to avoid change-related issues, KMF decided to offer 10 milliliters (ml) of extra milk in the half-liter packets of Nandini milk.
In response to the initial proposal of a 20.50 paise increase for half a liter of Toned milk (blue pack), KMF realized potential retail inconveniences and adjusted the price to Rs. 21 while adding 10 ml of milk to each packet.
Similarly, for homogenized tonex milk, cow’s milk (green packet), and Shubham (saffron) special milk, a Rs. 1.50 increase per half liter has been introduced along with an additional 10 ml of milk in each packet. KMF aims to strike a balance between consumer satisfaction and retailer interests.
