Mosquitoes are feared in some parts of the world as they are known to be carriers of deadly diseases. Although mosquitoes seem to have a preference for some people over others.

There are various reasons as to why some people attract mosquitoes more than others.

Mosquitoes like everyone else have a food preference and some people are simply more delicious to mosquitoes than others.

Reports reveal that about 20% of the human population is highly attractive to mosquitoes. The more you sweat, the more attractive you are to mosquitoes. The lactic acid in the sweat is irresistible.

There is a study that states that the skin microbiota can determine how delicious you are to malaria-carrying mosquitoes.
