Kodagu: Houses built for flood victims to be handed over on June 4

Kodagu: District Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy informed that the houses built for the flood victims at Jambur and Made villages will be handed over on June 4.

Annies Kanmani Joy chairing a preparatory meeting at her office informed that the houses built for the flood victims will hand over the houses to the beneficiaries by District In-charge Minister V Somanna on June 9.

However due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be no formal function and the title deeds will be handed over to the victims, symbolically said, Kanmani Joy. She then directed the officials to make the necessary preparations in this regard.

Meanwhile, Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation Engineer Srinivas said that 383 houses in Jambur and 80 houses in Made village are ready to be handed over to the beneficiaries.

District Superintendent of Police Dr Suman D Pennekar, Additional DC Dr Sneha and Assistant Commissioner T Javaregowda were present among others.
