Kodagu: Young girl writes open letter to officials; urges to find and return her deceased mother’s phone

Kushalnagar: A young girl has written an open letter to the district officials and hospital staff urging them to find and return her mother’s mobile phone which went missing after her death due to Covid-19.
The girl named Hrithiksha of Kushalnagar in her letter wrote that her mother had been admitted to the district Covid hospital but succumbed to the disease a week ago and her mobile phone has been missing since then.
It is said that the girl’s mother passed away on May 16. The girl further wrote that she has become an orphan now and the phone has several memories of her mother.
Also, she and her father were under home quarantine and as he is a daily wage worker, they were able to survive these days with the help of neighbours, she wrote.
The letter is going viral on social media.
