Kollur: Cattle shot dead for straying into field; complaint filed

Kollur: A man in Angadijeddu of Bellala village allegedly shot and killed several cattle left to graze for straying into his field.
A complaint in this regard has been lodged at the Kollur Police Station against a local named, Narasimha.
Over a period of time, the cows belonging to Gulabi and others were allegedly shot by the accused with a country-made gun. Many cows died while many others suffered serious injuries.
According to the complaint, when Narasimha was questioned about his actions, he allegedly threatened to shoot the complainant like he shot the cattle. At least 3 cows have died of wounds sustained in the last one month, the complaint said.
