Kolnadu: Lorry cleaner dies of electrocution

Vittla: In a tragic incident, a lorry cleaner died after he accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire at Padaru junction near Kudtamugeru in Kolnad village on Wednesday.

Dushyanth, a native of Hassan is the deceased person. He was working in a KMF feed transportation lorry.

The incident took place when the lorry driver stopped his vehicle at Padaru junction to ask for directions to reach Punacha. Dushyanth who climbed atop the lorry to remove his shirt accidentally came in touch with an overhead wire and died on the spot.

His body has been kept in the mortuary of Vittla government hospital. Vittla police registered a case.
