Konaje: A 35-year-old man was arrested under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act for sexually harassing a 12-year-old girl.
The accused identified has been identified as Usman. He runs a provisional store in the locality and sexually harassed a minor girl who came to his shop on Sunday.
Soon after the news spread in the locality, the situation in the area turned tense as the victim belonged to a different religion. A few people also attacked Usman in his shop.
A case has been registered.
