Mangaluru: A scooterist sustained minor injuries in a road mishap that occurred Thoudugoli cross under Konaje police station limits on Monday afternoon.

The accident took place after a car rammed into the scooter and went to hit a bus stand while navigating a turn at the junction. The wall of the bus shelter collapsed while two women who were standing in the bus shelter escaped unhurt in the mishap.

It is gathered that the car driver lost control of the vehicle when attempting to avoid colliding with the scooter at the turn.

The car occupant Ashraf had landed in Bengaluru from abroad and was headed home in the car driven by his relative. They were around two kilometres from their home when the accident took place. Luckily the duo were unhurt.
