Konkan Railway has decided to run special trains, including between Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn, in coordination with Central Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Holi Festival 2023.
A press release issued by Konkan Railways states that the special train will run between Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn on a weekly basis.
Train No. 01165 / 01166 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly):
Train No. 01165 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn. Special (Weekly) will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 22:15 hrs on March 7 and will arrive at Mangaluru Jn. at 17:20 hrs on the next day.
Train No. 01166 Mangaluru Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly) will leave from Mangaluru Jn. at 18:45 hrs on March 8 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 11:45 hrs on the next day.
The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations.
