Konkan railways ‘Fresh Up’ inaugurated

- A luxury resting house for passengers waiting for trains
Udupi: Konkan railways Karwar region’s manager Mohammed Asim Sulaiman inaugurated Konkan railways first, ‘Fresh Up’ resting home, which has been started through Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Freshminds service Pvt Ltd at Indrali railway station in Udupi.
This resting house has been inaugurated for passengers to rest while waiting for their train. The house has luxury rooms. It has two rooms with two double beds and one room with six single beds. One can safely take rest here. The room can be booked through IRCTC’s website or by directly visiting the Fresh Up counter here. In the same way, resting rooms will be started at Madgaon and Thivim railway stations, he informed.

These rooms are air conditioned and there is opportunity for the passenger to stay here for a period of one hour to 24 hours (until the train’s arrival). The payment is hour based, informed the officials.
