Koppal: In a bid to maintain social distancing during the ongoing 21-day nation-wide lockdown, the sub-registrar’s office in Koppal took a unique initiative by placing cement rings on the floor.
The cement rings were placed on the floor to ensure social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, these rings proved to be stumbling blocks especially for the elderly and differently-abled. Though the initiative as taken, keeping people’s safety in mind, by the end of the day voices of dissent began to emerge.
Meanwhile, few visitors complained that the rings caused severe embarrassment to women as well.
