Koppala: Police provides escort services for buses, strict actions against those who interrupt services

Koppala: The transport services have resumed in the district amidst the strike, with the police offering escort services to buses to ensure tight security.

From the past four days, employees of four Karnataka transport corporations have continued to strike with the support of the Farmers’ Association demanding to be made into government employees.

The strike has been successful for the past three days and some buses were found on the streets in the morning. The police are providing escort services to buses that are working. Currently, there are only 8 buses running.

Superintendent of police, Koppala, Sridhar said that strict actions will be taken against the ones who interrupt the bus transport services.
