Kota double murder accused BJP ZP member suspended from party

Udupi: BJP ZP member Raghavendra Kanchan, who is one of the accused in Kota double murder case has been suspended from the party, said Udupi BJP president Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde in a press release here on Friday, February 15.
Since Kanchan has been named in the murder case, the BJP has decided to suspend him, he informed.
Mr Kanchan is one of the accused of the recent murder of Bharath Kumar and Yatish by a gang over a a dispute over digging of the leech pit at Chikkanakere, Manuru, Kota, on January 26.
So far 15 persons have been arrested in connection to the murder including Rajashekhar Reddy , Medical Ravi, Harish Reddy, Mahesh Ganiga, Ravichandra Poojary, Udupi GP BJP member Raghavendra Kanchan, Pavan amin and Virendra Acharya, Abhishek (Abhi Palan), Barkur Hanehalli resident Santosh Kunder, Rotti Nagaraj, Bhadravati resident Pranav Rao and Anjar resident Shankar Mogaveera.
