Kota: ENT specialist Dr. Satish Poojari passes away

Kundapura: Dr. Satish Poojari Sastan (52), a well-known ENT specialist and managing partner of Kundapura Shreemata Hospital, passed away on Thursday, July 11 due to a heart attack at his residence in Kota Manur.

He is survived by his wife and son.

Dr. Poojari was the managing partner of institutions like Kundapura Shreemata Hospital and the Kota Manasmita Foundation. He was also an avid singer, lending his voice to several album songs and devotional music, and participated in music festivals.

Dr. Poojari was a fan of Dr. S. Janaki and organized the Dr. S. Janaki National Award every year at Koteshwar, where he felicitated many eminent singers of the country. He was also actively involved in social service through the Manasmita Foundation.

The family has announced that arrangements for the final viewing of the deceased will be available today from 4:30 PM at his residence in Kota Manur.
