Sandalwood expected a ‘double dhamaka’ today with the scheduled release of two movies coinciding with the Dasara festival. Fans were eagerly waiting for Dunia Vijay’s  Salaga and Kiccha Sudeep’s Kotigobba 3.

However, fans Kotigobba-3 were shocked as the release was canceled all of a sudden.

A special show for Kiccha fans was to be held today (October 14). Due to unknown reasons, the show was canceled abruptly.

Some fans who had already come to the theatres in anticipation were furious at the theatre owners and distributors.

A video of movie fans gatecrashing the Gayatri theatre was posted on Twitter. Similar scenes were reported from other places too.

Theatres have opened after two years due to Covid reasons. In this context, the cancellation of the first day’s show has disappointed many.

Meanwhile, Twitter was abuzz with support for the movie and Sudeep.

In a video posted, Kiccha Sudeep thanked his supporters and well-wishers. He appealed to the fans not to damage any theatres.
