KPCC general secy Kripa Alva slams BJP and ABVP for silence on dalit girl’s gangrape in Vittal

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) General Secretary, Kripa Amar Alva voiced strong criticism against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for their silence and lack of condemnation following the alleged gangrape of a minor Dalit girl in Vittal.

During a press conference at Congress Bhavan on Saturday, August 5, Kripa Alva sought accountability from prominent bodies like the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights and the National Commission for Women, urging them to take swift action in support of the victim.

Kripa Amar Alva expressed concern about the financial plight of the victim’s family and said, “I will talk to the concerned Ministers to admit the victim to Social Welfare School and also a house to be constructed for the poor family by the government.

Congress leaders Ibrahim Kodijal, Subhodh Alva, and Ubaid were also present.
