KPCC presidential election to be held on Oct 16: D K Shivakumar

Raichur: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President, D K Shivakumar on Monday, September 12 said that the KPCC presidential election will be held on October 16.

Speaking to the media he said, “My two-year tenure has ended. Those who are eligible to vote must partake in the elections. Me contesting once again or not is left to the party’s high command”.

“The election will take place on September 16 at the Ambedkar Bhavan at 3 pm. We are also electing the AICC delegates”, he added

Meanwhile, he also lambasted the BJP and its leaders for alleging that the state Congress leaders were involved in a lot of corruption cases.
