Krishik Sangha stage protest in Udupi

Udupi: The Udupi Zilla Krishik Sangha held a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Saturday, January 4 seeking the fulfilment of various demands of farmers of the district.
The farmers, who were protesting outside the Udupi District Administration office, eventually entered the Administration office and started protesting within the office, despite Deputy Commissioner Jagadish assurance to help them with this regard.
The protesting farmers also lashed out at the police for denying entry into the Udupi District Administration office.
However, the protesters were sent out of Administration premises.
