Arsikere: Supporters of senior BJP leader and opposition leader at Karnataka Legislative Council KS Eshwarappa have distributed pamphlets at Arsikere depicting him as the next Karnataka Chief Minister and this has created a shock wave within BJP circles. BJP is expected to respond the act as Karnataka state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa has already been confirmed as chief ministerial candidate for the next assembly elections.

The pamphlets were distributed by the members of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade at Arsikere. Earlier, senior party leaders had asked KS Eshwarappa to stop Sangolli Rayanna Brigade activities within BJP which is likely to support fractions with the party.
