New Delhi/Bengaluru: Karnataka state BJP President BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) in a statement to BJP high command in New Delhi on Thursday said, recent assault on Vinay, an aide of senior BJP leader KS Eshwarappa by his personal assistant (PA), NR Santhosh is nothing to do with the state party unit. Assault on Eshwarappa’s PA won’t hurt BJP as the issue is limited to only two persons, BSY clarified.
In a verbal statement to the party high command in the national capital BSY said, the issue may be a result of conspiracy of some of the BJP members in the state. The Congress led Karnataka government is also active in the issue to spread wrong message to the people on him, KS Eshwarappa and BJP, state party president noted.
BSY’s statement came in the wake of a notice served by BJP national president Amit Shah which sought an explanation from BSY on recent assault on Eshwarappa’s PA by his aide which created an issue within the party sphere in Karnataka.
