Bengaluru: Criticizing Public Works Minister H D Revanna for insulting the entire womenfolk with his insensitive remark on Sumalatha Ambareesh BJP leader K S Eshwarappa on Saturday, March 9 said that the JD(S) should remove the picture of a woman from the party symbol.
Addressing presspersons Eshwarappa said that comment made by Revanna on Sumalatha was not right, Revanna not only insulted Sumalatha but the entire womenfolk with his insensitive remark.
If Revanna does not apologise to Sumalatha then the JDS party has no right to use a picture of farmer woman carrying haystack on his party symbol, he added.
He further added “If Deve Gowda had 28 children, Gowda would have fielded all from as many constituencies (Lok Sabha). Even if the JD(S) supremo had 14 sons, he would have fielded his sons and daughters-in-law from all 28 seats in the state”
After being disappointed by his defeat in Chamundeshwari Assembly seat former chief minister Siddaramaiah is seeing the BJP in Tilak, saree and bangles. Kanakadasa and Sangolli Rayanna used to apply kumkum on their forehead. Siddaramaiah has insulted Kanaka and Rayanna by saying that he is afraid of those who sport tilak or kumkum, he said replying to Siddaramaiah’s tilak comment.
