KSNDMC forecasts heavy rainfall for 2 days in some parts of K’taka

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) on Saturday, September 19 forecasted moderate and heavy rainfall in different parts of the State.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to fall over Bidar, Kalburgi, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Koppala, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Gadag, Dharwad, Haveri, and Bellary districts till the morning of September 21.
The Centre also forecasted that in other places of the State light to moderate rainfall could be expected.
The India Meteorological Department had also forecasted thunderstorms and lightning over West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh in the next 12 hours.
