Gangawathi: In a inhumane act the KSRTC officials of North East Transpor depot of the district made a conductor work despite his daughter’s death.

Kavita (11), daughter of a KSRTC conductor Manjunath Bille passed away on Wednesday due to typhoid fever. Manjunath family members immediately informed the KSRTC officials about his daughter’s death so that he could rush back home.

However, the officials at the depot informed Manjunath about his daughter’s death on Thursday evening only after he finished his duty.

Following the incident, the higher authorities have assured that severe action will be taken against the depot manager SR Sonnad.
