Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is planning to increase the inflow of passengers into the Basaveshwara bus terminal at Peenya.

KSRTC employees may even considering cancelling the stop at Jalahalli Cross on Tumkuru Road citing the heavy traffic here as a reason.

However, KSRTC has not confirmed anything as yet, but an employee at the Basaveshwara bus stand said discussions were going on and a final call is yet to be taken.

Officials are said to be of the view that the flow of passengers at Basaveshwara bus stand will increase if stoppage of KSRTC buses at Jalahalli Cross is cancelled.

SR Umashankar, KSRTC, Managing Director told that the corporation will take a decision on operating more buses from Basaveshwara bus stand on demand.
