KSRTC staff returns lost purses to passengers; Exemplify honesty

Bantwal: A driver and a conductor of two different KSRTC buses have exemplified honesty by returning the lost purses of their passengers and thereby won the hearts of people and passengers alike.

1st incident

A driver of a Bengaluru-Mangaluru KSRTC bus identified as Erayya Belleri returned the lost purse belonging to a passenger named Srinivas. The passenger had lost his wallet at Iruvail while travelling in the bus and on finding the purse; Erayya honestly returned it to the passenger.

2nd incident

Mahadeva Swamy, a conductor of another KSRTC bus found the lost purse of his passenger Abdul Hammed and returned it back to him. The passenger was travelling in the KSRTC bus from Kasaragod to B.C. Road and lost his purse en-route. His purse contained Rs. 26,000 in cash, Dubai currency worth Rs. 5,000 and a few cards.

However, next day morning, the conductor Swamy honestly returned the purse along with its content intact to its rightful owner in the presence of B.C. Road unit manager Ismail and Puttur Divisional Controller Nagaraj Shirali.
