K’taka cabinet will be expanded after bypolls: BSY

Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday, October 30 said that the cabinet expansion in the state would take place after the bypolls to Sira and Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituencies.

Speaking with this regard he said.”The cabinet expansion will take place after the assembly by-elections to Bengaluru’s RR Nagar (Rajarajeshwarinagar) and Tumkur’s Sira seats and the results on November 10.”

“The list of legislators who will be promoted as ministers will be finalized then after consulting the party high command, including JP Nadda and Amit Shah,’ he added.

Yediyurappa took part in the campaigning event at Sira assembly segment in Tumkur. According to the party sources, he will take part in the campaigns at RR Nagar in Bengaluru on Saturday.

The polls are scheduled to be held on November 3.
