K’taka COVID-19 update: 1196 new cases, 2036 discharges, 5 deaths on Dec 12

Bengaluru: 1,196 new cases of COVID-19 along with 2,036 recoveries and 5 deaths due to the virus were reported from across the State on December 12.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the State till date has increased to 9,01,410 out of which 17,409 cases are presently active and 11,944 dead.

260 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district again reported the highest number of cases at 672 while all the other districts reported less than 60 cases on the same day.
