K’taka COVID-19 update: 1236 new cases, 1497 discharges, 10 deaths on Dec 16

Bengaluru: On December 16, 1,236 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1497 recoveries and 10 COVID-19 deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported till date has risen to 9,05,901 out of which 15,205 cases are presently active and 11,981 dead.

229 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district again reported the highest number of cases at 689 while all other districts reported less than 60 cases.
