K’taka COVID-19 update: 4267 new cases; 5218 discharges; 114 deaths on Aug 10

Bengaluru: 4,267 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the State between the evenings of August 9 and 10.

In the same period, 114 COVID-19 deaths occurred and 5,218 people were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus.

Prominent among those discharged was the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.

The total tallies in the State are 1,82,354 positive cases and 3,312 COVID-19 deaths.

Presently, 79,908 active COVID-19 cases are undergoing treatment across the State.

Once again Bengaluru Urban district has reported highest COVID-19 cases in the State at 1243.

Other districts with high cases include Mysuru (374), Ballari (253), Davanagere (225), Kalaburagi (196), Raichur (165), Dharwad (157), Bagalkote (147), Dakshina Kannada (146), Vijayapura (139), Hassan (126), Koppala (110), Kolar (100) and Udupi (90).
