K’taka COVID-19 update: 4471 new cases, 7153 discharges, 52 deaths on Oct 23

Bengaluru: 4,471 new cases of COVID-19 were detected from across the State on October 23 along with 7,153 recoveries and 52 deaths due to the virus.

The total number of cases in the State now stands at 7,98,378 out of which 86,749 cases are presently active and 10,873 dead.

The districts that reported a high number of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 2,251, Tumakuru 232, Mysuru 173, Mandya 163, Dakshina Kannada, Hassan 136 and Ballari 129.
