K’taka COVID-19 update: 5872 new cases, 9289 discharges, 88 deaths on Oct 20

Bengaluru: On October 20, 5,872 new COVID-19 cases were reported from across the State along with 9,289 recoveries and 88 deaths.

The new numbers have increased the total reported COVID-19 cases in the State to 7,82,773 out of which 1,00,440 cases are active and 10,696 dead.

The districts that reported a high number of COVID-19 cases on October 20 are Bengaluru Urban 2,717, Bengaluru Rural 366, Davanagere 304, Mysuru 220, Dakshina Kannada 215, Mandya 208 and Shivamogga 177.
