K’taka COVID-19 update: 6257 new cases; 6473 discharges; 86 deaths on Aug 11

Bengaluru: 6,257 new COVID-19 cases were reported from across the State between the evenings of August 10 and 11.
6,473 people were discharged after recovery and 86 COVID-19 deaths too occurred during the same period.
With this new addition, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has risen to 1,88,611, out of these 79,606 are active.
The total death toll in the State has risen to 3,398.
Bengaluru Urban district has again reported that highest number of cases (1,610).
Other districts with high instances of cases include Ballari (736), Belgaum (575), Dharwad (276), Dakshina Kannada (243), Mysuru (238), Udupi (219), Raichur (201), Shimoga (189), Davanagere (172) Koppal (169), Kalaburagi (156), Hassan (146), Mandya (141), Bagalkote (135), Vijayapura (121), Yadagiri (102), Ramanagara (96), Chikmagalur (93), Tumkur (89), Gadag (78), Bidar (73), Uttara Kannada (73), Kolar (69), Chitradurga (47), Kodagu (41), Haveri (36), Chikkaballapur (33) and Bangalore Rural (28).
