K’taka COVID-19 update: 6,805 new cases; 5,602 discharges; 93 deaths on Aug 6

6,805 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the State in the 24 hours between the evenings of August 5 and 6.

5,602 people were discharged from hospitals and 93 people have  died due to Covid-19.

Currently, there are 73,958 active COVID-19 cases  in the state, out of which 671 are in Intensive Care Units.The total tally of COVID-19 cases and COVID-19 deaths in the State has risen to 1,58,254 and 2897 respectively.

Bengaluru Urban has reported 2544 cases, Ballari (431), Belgaum (229),Shivamogga (292) Mysuru (361), Udupi (217), Dakshina Kannada (173), Dharwad (212)
