K’taka COVID-19 update: 755 new cases, 976 discharges, 3 deaths on Jan 1

Bengaluru: 755 new cases of COVID-19 along with 976 recoveries and 3 deaths were reported from across the State on the first day of 2021.

The total COVID-19 cases in the State has now risen to 9,21,128 out of which 10,834 cases are presently active and 12,099 dead.

186 COVID-19 patients are presently undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district again recorded the highest cases in the day at 343. All other districts reported less than 80 cases.
