K’taka COVID-19 update: 7908 new cases; 6940 discharges; 104 deaths on Aug 14

Bengaluru: Between the evenings of August 13 and 14, COVID-19 cases in the State rose by 7,908 increasing the total tally to 2,11,108.
In the same period, 6,940 discharges of recovered people and 104 COVID-19 deaths too occurred across the State.
As of today (August 14), 79,201 active cases are undergoing treatment in hospitals of these 747 cases are in Intensive Care Units.
Also during the same period, Bengaluru Urban district again reported the highest number of cases in the State at 2452.
Other districts with high cases include Bellari (608), Shimoga (413), Davanagere (351), Belgaum (334), Udupi (322), Dakshina Kannada (307), Mysuru (291), Kalaburagi (229), Raichur (220) Dharwad (219), Gadag (190), Tumkur (185), Bagalkote (171), Mandya (163), Koppal (162), Hassan (158), Vijayapura (144), Haveri (138), Yadagiri (116) and Chikmagalur (104).
